Cessna 162 Skycatcher in flightSporty’s Academy has recently taken delivery of a brand new 2011 Cessna 162 Skycatcher. This light sport airplane (LSA) joins Sporty’s already impressive training fleet of late-model Cessna 172s, a Cessna 182, a Piper Aztec and a Diamond Xtreme Motorglider.

The Skycatcher features a modern flight deck with a glass panel Garmin G300 system. Its powered by a Continental O-200, providing speeds up to 135 mph and a range of 400 nautical miles. The Skycatcher will be used in a variety of training programs, from initial certification to glass cockpit transitions. The introductory price is just $99/hour.
